  • Personal identification information — name, date of birth, government-issued ID details, and contact information including phone number, email address, and mailing address.
  • Biological samples — buccal cheek swabs, blood draws, or other biological material collected for testing purposes.
  • Genetic information — DNA profiles and test results generated from biological samples.
  • Health-related information — gestational age for prenatal testing, or other health information relevant to the test type requested.
  • Payment information — billing details collected at the time of service. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Communications — records of correspondence including emails, text messages, and call notes.
  • Website usage data — IP address, browser type, and pages visited when you use our website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the purposes of providing our services:

  • To schedule and coordinate DNA collection appointments
  • To verify identity and obtain consent prior to collection
  • To coordinate laboratory testing through our accredited laboratory partner
  • To deliver test results to authorized parties
  • To process payments for services rendered

3. Genetic & Biometric Data

We treat genetic and biometric data with the highest level of care. This includes DNA profiles, test results, and all biological samples collected as part of our services.

  • Biological samples are transmitted directly to our AABB-accredited laboratory partner for analysis. We do not retain physical samples.
  • DNA profiles and test results are stored securely and are only accessible to authorized personnel involved in your case.
  • Genetic data is never sold, licensed, or shared with third parties for research, commercial, or any other purposes.
  • Results are delivered only to the individual who authorized testing, or to parties explicitly authorized in writing by that individual.
California Residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related regulations, genetic data is classified as sensitive personal information and is subject to enhanced protections. See Section 8 for your specific rights.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Laboratory partners — We share necessary information with our AABB-accredited laboratory partner to process your test. This is limited to information required to complete analysis and return results.
  • Authorized parties — Results and case information may be shared with attorneys, physicians, or other parties you explicitly authorize in writing.
  • Legal requirements — We may disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or valid legal process. We will notify you of such requests to the extent permitted by law.
  • Service providers — We may share limited information with third-party service providers who assist in operating our business (such as payment processors or communication platforms) under strict confidentiality agreements.

We never share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any party for commercial purposes.

5. Test Results & Confidentiality

Test results are handled with strict confidentiality:

  • Results are delivered only by secure email or mail to the authorized recipient.
  • Results are never released by phone to any party under any circumstances.
  • Results are not shared with referring physicians, OB-GYNs, attorneys, or any other professional without your explicit written authorization.
  • For legal testing, results include chain-of-custody documentation and are formatted for use in legal proceedings per your instructions.

6. SMS & Text Communications

If you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages from Anytime Mobile DNA, the following terms apply:

  • You may receive text messages regarding your appointment, inquiry, or service updates.
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages from us.
  • Your phone number is never shared with third parties for marketing or any other purposes.
  • Consent to receive text messages is not required to use our services.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal and genetic information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include secure communication channels, access controls, and confidentiality agreements with all personnel and service providers who handle your information.

For minors being tested, a birth certificate is required along with government-issued identification from the legal guardian and signed authorization prior to collection.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with applicable legal obligations. Case records related to legal testing may be retained for longer periods to support potential legal proceedings. Genetic data is retained in accordance with our laboratory partner's accreditation requirements and applicable law.
