This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all services provided by Anytime Mobile DNA. By scheduling a service with us, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read this policy carefully before booking.
Summary: Cancellations before specimen collection may qualify for a partial refund after costs already incurred are deducted. Late cancellations, rescheduling requests, and missed appointments are subject to the fees below. Once specimen collection has occurred, no refunds will be issued.
1. General Policy
All services provided by Anytime Mobile DNA are subject to this policy. Payment may begin case coordination, scheduling, laboratory preparation, travel arrangements, shipping, phlebotomy coordination, mobile service arrangements, or other third-party services before specimen collection occurs. If a client cancels before specimen collection, the client may be eligible for a partial refund after administrative, scheduling, travel, laboratory, shipping, phlebotomy, mobile service, third-party, and other costs already incurred are deducted. Once specimen collection has occurred, no refunds will be issued.
2. No Refund After Specimen Collection
Once specimen collection has occurred, no refunds will be issued. Costs incurred before specimen collection may also be non-refundable as described in this policy.
This policy applies regardless of the test outcome, including inconclusive results caused by biological or laboratory factors outside our control.
3. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, the following terms apply:
- Cancellation with more than 24 hours notice — The client may be eligible for a partial refund after administrative, scheduling, travel, laboratory, shipping, phlebotomy, mobile service, third-party, and other costs already incurred are deducted.
- Cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment — A $150 late cancellation fee applies, plus any nonrecoverable costs already incurred.
- Cancellation after specimen collection — No refund will be issued.
To cancel an appointment, contact us by phone at (833) 326-9846 or by email at contact@anytimemobiledna.com. Cancellation requests must be acknowledged by our team to be considered received.
4. Rescheduling Policy
We understand that scheduling conflicts arise. The following rescheduling terms apply:
- First rescheduling request with more than 24 hours notice — One rescheduling request is permitted at no additional charge per case.
- Second or subsequent rescheduling request — A $150 rescheduling fee applies, regardless of how far in advance the request is made.
- Any rescheduling request within 24 hours of the appointment — A $150 rescheduling fee applies.
Rescheduling requests must be made by phone at (833) 326-9846 to ensure timely processing. Email requests within 24 hours of an appointment may not be processed in time.
5. Missed Appointments
If you or any required party fails to appear for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, a $150 missed appointment fee applies, plus any nonrecoverable costs already incurred. This fee is in addition to applicable service fees and is non-refundable.
A missed appointment does not automatically cancel the case. All outstanding fees must be paid before another appointment is confirmed.
6. Recollection & Additional Sample Fees
In some cases, a recollection or additional sample may be required. This can occur due to biological factors outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Insufficient fetal DNA or another laboratory-determined reason requiring NIPP recollection
- Insufficient or degraded specimen quality in postmortem testing
- Laboratory requirements for additional samples to produce a conclusive result
The following recollection fees apply:
A required NIPP recollection does not create an automatic right to a refund. The laboratory determines whether recollection is necessary, and additional recollection, mobile collection, or phlebotomy fees may apply.

We will always communicate with you before any additional charges are processed. You will be informed of the situation, the reason, and the applicable fee before any further action is taken.
7. Concierge Enhancement Fees
Additional service fees, including weekend availability, after-hours scheduling, priority scheduling when available, expedited laboratory processing, and additional documentation, are non-refundable once the service has been rendered or initiated.

8. Postmortem DNA Coordination
Postmortem DNA Coordination may involve case-specific preparation and third-party costs before specimen collection occurs. The following terms apply:
- Costs already incurred for case coordination, laboratory preparation, kit ordering or shipment, collection logistics, shipping, facility coordination, or other third-party services are non-refundable to the extent those costs cannot be recovered.
- If testing cannot proceed because a suitable specimen is unavailable or not viable, there is no automatic right to a full refund. Any refund eligibility will be determined after nonrecoverable coordination and third-party costs are deducted.
- Laboratory, shipping, coroner or medical examiner, facility, collector, and other third-party fees already incurred are the responsibility of the client and may be non-refundable.
- If additional specimens or services are required, applicable fees will be communicated before additional processing is authorized.
9. Client Acknowledgment
By proceeding with scheduling and payment, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Cancellations before specimen collection may qualify for a partial refund after costs already incurred are deducted.
- Once specimen collection has occurred, no refunds will be issued.
- Cancellation, rescheduling, and missed appointment fees apply as described in this policy.
- NIPP and other DNA testing may require recollection, and additional recollection, mobile collection, phlebotomy, laboratory, or related fees may apply.
- Postmortem coordination and other third-party costs already incurred may be non-refundable as described in this policy.
